I have so many plans and things I WANT to do but I struggle to motivate myself. I have planned things out, wrote them down; made lists but can’t seem to get things kickstarted/stick to them. How do you motivate yourself?

I really struggle to self motivate sometimes, but I have find that doing things with someone else helps me stay on track.

So for example, exercise, I go to the gym with dh and find if one of us isn't up for it, the other can motivate them to go, even if it's just a short 30 minutes cardio rather than a full work out.

Same! I am terrible!
I like the suggestion of involving other people. Although, how does that work if you are both crap at self-motivation?

Being grateful to be alive and remembering that you only get the one life is a motivation for me.

It's almost a guilt thing for me, I feel bad if dh, who is super motivated for the most part, says he doesn't feel like going to the gym, I'm in the habit of saying "let's just do a mini session" and I generally feel good for it (I think he does too)
