To think my dentist shouldn’t have missed this huge hole?

I had a tooth removed today and have had a lot of sensitivity in this back one attributed to the one beside needing to be removed.

It was a difficult extraction so I understand things were bloody.. but surely you’d see this? Was told I was good to go and didn’t need another appointment!

Yes that's defo a cavity but maybe there was blood in the way. we literally just check the socket tbh once the tooth is out but agreed that's obvious!

Hmmm I phoned them and spoke to my dentist who said it was noted as something to keep an eye on as they believe it to be superficial.
Guess I’ll see how it is once my extractions healed up.
