Previous post about guy 38/M - went on holiday day after seeing me. Had been dating for 2 months. Did not hear from him for a week and a half - he sent me a music video yesterday. Had tried to message him last Wednesday no response. Friend found him on Bumble last week by chance (told me he did not use the app).

Have not replied to him music video.

Guy who my friend knows who is a dentist has asked me to go out for a drink tonight.

AIBU to assume it is over with the first guy and go for a drink with the dentist? Or should I just leave it with the first guy forget and move on.

Dont want to create nasty karma or have him saying I ghosted him.

I meant to say should I formally end it with the first guy or just leave it. It was not a nice expierence with the first guy who has gone on holiday TBH

Go and enjoy the date with the dentist. If you feel more comfortable to drop the first guy do, but you don't owe him anything really.

Glad you went on the date, did you have a nice time, would you want to see him again? Don’t take an off hand comment to heart, if you’d like to see him again message & say so, at least you’ll know.

Block the other guy, he had his chance, if you don’t I bet you £50 he’ll message out of the blue in 6 months time and expect to pick up again.

Yes such a nice time - he was lovely. I suppose with the Uber and all it was maybe a bit awkward and a couple of wines in - I would like to see him again yeah. X
