Will this meditation work for you? For insomnia ladies, insomnia.

I never thought I'd describe someone's voice as 'like nails on a chalkboard'.
(Is that vocal fry?)

Oh my goodness it's set my teeth on edge. How could anyone sleep through that!??

Chocolattay · 16/03/2022 01:28

Jesus Christ!!!

That has triggered my fight or flight response!

If meditation worked for insomnia, there wouldn't be any insomniacs. It just isn't that easy. And that guy's voice would keep me awake , it's so annoying !

Part of my insomnia is anxiety. I need distractions from it to sleep. Not to be worrying about things like whether I'm "doing enough today to not have regrets when I'm older"

The music irritates me and he sounds like he needs to clear his throat. Just one good cough

If I’m trying to go to sleep, I sure as hell don’t want to be getting messages from my “higher true self”.

There is nothing about this that I don't hate (so much that I’ll use a double negative).

1 - voice - gravel on glass
2 - tone - creepy AF
3 - music - f’ing whale music
4 - content - pigswill.

I’m not a fan.
