To think the donation requests are too regular?

In the next 2 weeks my kids' primary school have 3 non uniform days planned. Bring £1 to support Ukraine, bring £1 for comic relief, bring an Easter Egg (don't know what cause the egg is for). It's not that I don't agree with the causes but this is more than once a week now and is getting expensive especially at such a worrying time financially for many many people. I have 2 kids at the school so everything is doubled. AIBU not to donate every time?

YANBU.

My kids school never ask for donations anymore, not since covid they understand it's to expensive for parents they still dress up etc just don't ask for donations.
I would understand if it was going to the school funds but Ukraine really!

No you're not. Many people are struggling. No one will challenge them about it

MrsLegend · 14/03/2022 17:38

Just don't contribute!

I would challenge the easter egg, I am selling flowers from my garden and baking biscuits to sell from a garden table to raise funds for our school to donate.l
