Yes yes this is a TABAT so I know it'll go... at what point does a thread become 'outing' is it always at the point that it's not going the ops way?
Can't see what on earth about recent thread i was on being outing other than not a single poster having sympathy for the DF and everyone saying that should be reserved for the sister!

Eh?

lemongreentea · 14/03/2022 13:13

attention seeking mostly.

Oldh · 14/03/2022 13:13

Didn't see that one but about 5 threads I have been interested in have been taken down in the last two days. It's frustrating. Thought I might put my tuppence worth in, before this one goes as well!

@MissNothing1991

Eh?
Just me being Grumpy! Someone posted a thread , not a single poster felt her sister was in the wrong, so it was then deleted as too 'outing'! Why post if it's so outing, happening so often now when doesn't go the way the op wants! And yes I do know I don't have to read or post but harrumph!!

@Oldh that thread was a poster saying her dsis who'd been sexually assaulted by their father wasn't being fair in helping out with his care now he was older, 'it was just one occasion' Hmm

Ahhh, I'm with you now! Sorry, didn't sleep well last night and I clearly hadn't enough coffee in me yet 😂 this winds me up just as much as it winds you up lol

Sometimes, it’s because they need the reassurance they aren’t wrong

Others it’s because they like the attention

Mumsnet need to start admitting that they delete threads at the OP’s request for whatever reason, including that the thread isn’t going the way the OP wants/likes.

Mumsnet clearly don't read the threads. All the OT has to say is it's become identifying and they delete, regardless of whether they've posted identifying information or not. It's really annoying when threads are deleted just because the OP doesn't like the responses.

It looks like they have, another thread been following just says 'deleted at ops request'.
