Where do refugees come into the U.K.?

I’d like to welcome them with their local food and maybe some other things. Is that possible? Where do they come into the U.K.? Was thinking of going to local airport but obviously no flights from Kyiv! Poland?

Their wellbeing and security might be an issue so maybe donate to the chosen charities or places of Worship who can welcome them safely

How would you know they are refugees arriving at an airport? It all sounds a bit look at me virtue signalling I'm afraid. If you really want to help, volunteer for a charity, register to take in a family, donate to a charity etc.

When they do arrive I don’t think they will be wanting to hang around the airport/train terminal eating some borscht. They are going to be tired, stressed, probably in need of a shower and some fresh clothes and it is mostly likely they will be being bused around the country to host families, hotels and hostels.
