Not a TAAT but thought triggered by it.
People were effectively being accused of just pretending they'd take people in to look good. And I thought, well what would would be the point, it's in real life that the pressure will come.
Flashbacks to those Thursday clap nights and how some streets had bands and stuff like that I'm wondering if I'm some areas a stronger sense of community and or peer pressure/ not wanting to appear selfish.
So there's instantly be communities of people over night that could support one another which initially I thought was positive. And felt bad that I don't have the space.
Anyway I then went on to read a few people mentioning Ukraine is very right wing and comments about racism came up.
I had no knowledge of this before however it's got me wondering if racism will increase as a result, in the areas where there are large proportions of new communities?
Not sure if I'm being unnecessarily anxious or if it's something that could happen?
In no way am I suggesting people shouldn't open their homes it's just something that popped into my head reading about people worried they'd have.
