Fed up with my hair, what shall I do?

See attached photo.
It's reached the bottom of my ear on one side and only covers the top of my ear on the other. Has all these short bits and my fringe is quite long at the front now, goes over my eyes and I just end up pushing it out of my face all the time, ends up greasy from touching it a lot.
I usually just put an alice band on and scrape the fringe off my face.

Don't even know if the colour suits me. Trying to grow it out but I'm probably looking at at least another 6 months for the short side to grow.

I know hair isn't everything but it just makes me feel unattractive, I have got a lot of hair but it also ends up flat too.

Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks

I like the colour. Perhaps just a good cut at a decent salon would work. Your length is quite short so perhaps a long pixie (with length at the front/sides but shirt at the back) would suit??

What about a perm? I had thick straight hair that was pretty flat but a perm has given it lots of texture and body. Also got a fake voloom from Amazon which is good at creating root volume x

I googled short hair styles and it’s going to be difficult to avoid a style synonymous with a certain woman’s name. I echo going to a good stylist and pixie cut. That with a graduated fringe could modernise and steer you away with the K cut. Also ask the stylist to show you how to add texture and waves.
