Ok so posting here mainly for traffic but also wasn't sure what category. This is kinda just for fun despite my title but interested to hear opinions too

So to give context I'm female mid 30s with 2 young children and married. Have recently gone back to work in retail as it fits in nicely with the kids etc. I love it and love chatting to the customers and love helping them and I keep getting loads of compliments which is fab. My hubby said why am I not so helpful at home and I said I am but he calls it interfering. My family like mum siblings etc call me interfering but everyone else seems to think I'm helpful. Myself included lol

So just wondered why my family are viewing me so differently or is anyone else similar to me? I do enjoy going the extra mile for ppl when I can. At times and especially with kids in tow it's hard but usually I try my best

Probably because there are boundaries with the customers and they can leave if they have had enough whereas your family don’t have that option.

Can you give an example of a time when you felt you were being helpful at home and your husband or another family member thought you were interfering?

It's a very different situation - your husband's and mum and sibling's interactions with you compared to anyone else like in your job!
