Upside down upside down sauce bottles

Are people who have sauce bottles designed to stand on their lids to make dispensing easier but keep them the other way up, mad and/or evil?

YABU - It's fine to mess with science and ignore modern technology leading to extended sauce waiting times.

YANBU - Lid standing sauce bottles should be kept on their lids the way god intended. These people must be stopped.

and now i wish i didn't live in this country anymore, also lids down, makes it easier to get out

Ours tend to lie on their sides in the fridge.
They say refrigerate once open & the always fall over when shoving everything in the fridge.

Fridges are unnecessary for sauce stowage in the case of ketchup. If you do it needs to chambre before use.

DH asked me why I kept putting our upside down washing up liquid upside down. Adamant it wasn't him. While literally putting the thing down upside down 🤨

It's a muscle memory that's hard to break.

Warm ketchup 🤢

I don't eat ketchup as it's disgusting but DH keeps the bottles upside down in the cupboard and it works just fine. He doesn't like freezing cold ketchup with his hot food which sounds completely reasonable to me.

It's stored in a cool, dark cupboard.

Could think of nothing worse that dipping a sausage in cold ketchup.

I get why some people keep it in the fridge. Hot with cold is that pleasure and pain thing isn't it? I'm not out to shame anybody who likes cold ketchup, but I'm just not into that personally.

How do people that insist their ketchup is fridge temperature get on with eating out? Bottles on the table or sachets with the condiments in a lot of places.

I do hope that isn't some smutty comment that you are now sniggering about - I've not long had my supper.

You soon change your mind when the kids get sauce all over the lid, then plonk it down straight on the table without wiping it clean first.
