What are you doing to go into Monday and this week positively?

Fed up of the Sunday blues and Monday dread. What do you do to start the week positively?

This morning I got up a bit earlier after mindfully going to bed a bit earlier last night. Had a good sleep and feel week this morning.

On Friday I had a job interview that went really well. They told me in the interview that they wanted to take me to the second stage and I got an email afterwards saying how impressed the panel were and that I’d hear from the admin staff about times next week.

So I’m feeling positive about getting that email and (hopefully) and equally successful second interview.

Getting the job would just about double my salary (and there are bonuses - which is not something I’ve ever had before).

I’ve made a plan of nice things throughout the day to look forward to. Just small things like my favourite coffee and a nice lunch to look forward to, getting out for some fresh air, changing the bed so there are fresh sheets to get into later. I’m trying to take more positivity from the little things.

Tackling the last room in decorating it, it's still full of clutter from our last year move [think back room of charity shop Blush and there is grotty wall paper to come off, layers and layers of it ! Need a Brewnow Smile

Unexpected day off.

Server has crashed and can’t log on. Nothing I can do to fix it, so cuppa and toast and wait and see.

I'm feeling very tired and meh today after a big night out on Saturday.

But trying to start the week positively by drinking a big bottle of water, writing my to do list for the week and I'm going to go for a walk at lunchtime. Smile

My favourite thing to do is to get up a little bit early on a Monday and sit outside with a coffee under a blanket, while the world wakes up. It’s lovely

Got up a bit early and did a walking workout and some stretching. Never usually exercise and am surprised how awake and alert I feel.

I don’t work on Mondays so that helps. I’m going to do some exercise and then do a big clear out of the DCs rooms while they can’t see me putting stuff in a bin bag.

It's my day off today. I started reading the hormone reset book yesterday. I dont know if it's going to be a load of baloney but I'm giving the 21 day regime a go.
I'm just waiting for my friend to call round so we can swimming. I need to practise my front crawl as I'm so out of practice! I hope tbe life guards dont mistake my stroke for someone who is drowning !!😦

I've given up alcohol for Lent and I'm starting healthy eating for a few days, then calorie counting as well. I've vowed to sit less.

Having an annual leave - I feel 200% better. It’s a gorgeous day here so Im doing some gardening, doing a batch cook, taking some rubbish to the recycling centre and taking the pup out for a long walk. A day off is a precious thing and I’m appreciating every minute of it Smile

I started a new diet / healthy eating plan last Monday. It's quite hardcore to start, but I was very pleased when I got on the scales this morning and was over 5lbs down!

We're in the process of moving house, and will exchange if/when the bloody solicitor ever phones me back, so spent the weekend packing, sorting & cleaning. But being organised makes me feel happier!!
