I know there is a lot of interest in the Ukrainian president, but I think that showing this at the current time is opportunistic.

Did you watch it?

Spermysextowel · 07/03/2022 01:51

About 5 minutes of it.

Only the other day there was a thread on here begging that it be shown! There’s no pleasing some…

It's a commercial channel - people want to know more about Zelensky, not everyone has netflix.
They aren't forcing you to watch it.

I don't watch C4 (except GBBOF) - but if they'd decided to screen a comedy - or anything- starring Putin I'd be complaining - but don't find anything objectionable about this.

I found it fascinating. I watched the first two episodes. It was good to watch it within the context of having seen Matt Frei’s earlier documentary on Zelensky.

No-one made me watch it. I have this magical device called a ‘Remote Control’ that I can use to turn programmes on and off.

Very importantly, I have free will and freedom of choice.

I've recorded it, I don't see an issue with then airing it.

It's a good way of sending some money into the Ukrainian economy!

CailleachGranda · 07/03/2022 08:23

Opportune or not, I watched all three episodes

It was good, funny and sad to see how beautiful Kyiv looked

Zelensky is an excellent actor
