varicocele Help

Hello,

I just found out my husband has a varicocele on his right and left side of his testicle.

The one on the left is more visible.

However the sperm tests show he has above average sperm motility.

How can this be anybody else have any other stories similar to this?

We’ve done two tests 6 months apart.

Hello! Have you made any progress? What were your partners other numbers like? My partner has the same and struggling to know what to do.. and straight to ivf/icsi? Thanks! X

there is surgery for this but it is not very effective and just delays things. probably better to go straight to IVF-ISCI which works marvellously (in several cases I know of)

Jumping in the conversation, our ICSI failed, my partner has bilateral varicocele and no embryos progressed to day 5. ICSI unfortunately don’t overcome the DNA fragmentation issue, for this men have to be treated either by embolision or operation. Hope it helps you.
