Help-blocked nose/headaches

Arghhh!

I get headaches sometimes- they’re not serious and there’s nothing wrong with me- but I absolutely hate them! They are ALWAYS on the same place- right side of my head above my eyebrow and towards my temples. They usually start in the afternoon and the pain peaks in the evening. Painkillers don’t really help them although going to sleep seems to get rid of them thankfully and I rarely wake up with the headache the next day. Sometimes I get them every night and other times I get them every few weeks- it really just depends.

I’ve had my eyes tested already so it’s not that. It’s nothing serious and I’ve had blood tests for other medical things which were all healthy, so I know there’s nothing serious causing the headaches, I presumed it was just tiredness.

But I suddenly realised my nose is blocked a lot. I’m so used to it that I didn’t realise at first! It’s clear maybe 50% of the time but the rest of the time it’s blocked on one side. It’s usually the same side as the headache and I notice the blocked nose a lot more at night and it coincides with the headaches. It switches sides occasionally but it usually is blocked on the right.

Could me having a blocked nose somehow be causing the headaches?

Probably sinus , I get similar and the painkillers do sinus / colds / flu are the ones that help shift them . I also take a cetirizine ( anti histamine ) daily and that seems to have helped with lessening the frequency .

I suffer with sinus issues and highly recommend the neilmed nasal rinse. Has helped alleviate the headaches
