To think, when things like this keep happening , it's no wonder we lose trust in the police ?

www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10574145/Married-Met-Police-officer-tried-start-sexual-relationships-two-teenagers-jailed.html

Basically 45 year old police officer, initially called to find a 16 year old girl who has been reported missing. She's found, he obtains her mobile number from missing person's reports, and then texted her 47 times saying she was pretty and wanted to ask her out.

He's then called to an incident where a 15 year old girl is accused of theft, (£10.00), in the family home. Texts her inviting her for drinks and arranges meet up's with the 15 year old in a local park.

How can we trust the police where stories of them being predatory like this keep happening ?

Disgusting. And yes, it erodes trust in the police.

Vile behaviour. For which he got two years, better than nothing I guess.

Vile! And only two years, not surprised sadly!
