Hi there,
First time mum due in April, has anyone used the ALDI version of the dockatot? Its a quarter of the price?

What are you going to use it for?

For popping the baby down, supervised, while you have a shower / sort laundry they’re really useful. Also good for short naps, also supervised

For overnight sleep or unsupervised naps they’re not recommended

I think all those types of sleep pods are much of a muchness, I found mine very useful but would never leave her unattended in it

They're not recommended, have a look at Lullaby Trust advice on sleep pods, they aren't considered safe for sleeping.
They're technically okay when used under supervision, but even then one of the risks form them is overheating, and even watching a baby, it isn't always easy to tell if that's happening.

Would always be supervised as previous comment says just to get on with some house chores etc

You would be better just putting the baby in the Moses basket or wherever they are sleeping. The sleep pods aren’t recommended.

Don't look safe to me. Get a cocoon a baby mattress.

A traditional baby bouncer would be safer.
