Is this normal after coil

Mirena was put In 42 hours ago. I had spotting and cramps which were on and off yesterday.

Through yesterday and today I feel rubbish. Slightly warm and achy. It feels like the day after a sickness bug. When you feel achy and weak.

I had a biopsy at the same time. It is ovulation day for me. I suffer from low iron and I have been in hospital recently.

Does this sound normal?

Yes normal. It settles down. Im on my 3rd one now. I definitely felt like you after fitting

Probably could be normal, but I would ring and ask if you develop a temperature as that could be due to an infection (I had the same procedure a few weeks ago and was told this).

Endometrial biopsies are pretty rough. I felt ghastly for a few days after mine. Keep an eye on your temp and use regular paracetamol for pain relief. Agree re: infection.

Was the biopsy & coild insert done under anaesthetic?
I find the effects of GA take a few days to wear off.
