Dog’s digestive tract issues

Having supper out with husband and friends. At neighbouring table a guest was listing in detail her dog’s issues earlier in the week.

As I’m not a vet or a medic I do not wish to listen to a description of dog’s (or indeed anyone’s) vomiting and diarrhoea at any time, but especially not when I’m eating my supper.
AIBU?

Yabu if you think vets or medics want to listen to it either!

XenoBitch · 02/03/2022 21:52

YABU, you can't police what other tables are talking about. Maybe make more of an effort to start a conversation on your own.

Easterbunnyiswindowshopping · 02/03/2022 21:53

Maybe invent some personal medical issue of your own? Piles? Genital warts?

GrannyGoggles · 02/03/2022 21:54

Good point well made Raisin

We were having quite the chat about all number of things. I just don’t want to hear about diarrhoea when I’m eating.

Do realise that it might say more about me than my fellow diners
