I think it’s time I start looking for a new job
It’s only been 4 months since I started this new job, but I don’t think I can go on like this.
The days are boring, and they drag. Its painful. Fair enough if I worked from home, I would occupy myself a lot better but waking up early commuting for 3 hours just to come and sit and do nothing much is NOT how I pictured working this new job would be. At first it was great, I was brought on as boss had a lot of responsibilities and couldn’t handle it all and really needed another pair of hands. But we’re just winding down on a big project which use to keep me busy but not anymore since its almost done now.
I don’t want to talk to my boss about it yet because what if he realizes, you’re right, we don’t need you anymore and then sack me and I don’t have anything else lined up?
Should I stick it out in hopes there’s more work for me to do?
