Anyone used the veriFLY app? I'm having a big panic

Flying to America tomorrow with British Airways. Flight is 12.10. Can't check in online because it says you have to use the veriFLY app, I have done everything on the app and the app says that I am approved and ready for travel but British Airways still says all my documents aren't on veriFLY so won't let me check in.

Has anyone got any experience of this or can shed some light? The later it gets the more I am panicking

We flew with BA over the weekend and couldn’t manage to get the VeriFLY app to work - we couldn’t get online check in to work either, so we just turned up at the airport and showed them our vivid passes and passenger locator form. It was all fine.

Yes, similar experience - on a return flight it wouldn’t accept our daughter’s documentation so we just checked in in person. Stressful, but actually fine once we got theee. I think they just want as many as possible to use the app, but they know it won’t be possible for everyone. Try not to worry Smile

Yeah I have, twice for long haul flights - once to usa in feb. It took a little while (an hour or so) of VeriFLY saying I was good to go before the online check in caught up and let me check in. How long have you been trying for?

Oh great thank you so much for the replies! The verifly app only updated about half an hour ago tbf so I will try again in half an hour or so
