Period 2.5 weeks late after Morning after pill. Scared!!

Has anyone had a really delayed or missed period after taking the Morning after pill? NOT PREGNANT. Took it on ovulation but now
It’s day 47 of my cycle and no period.
Should I be worried? I’m 34.

Honestly you really need to do a pregnancy test. It's likely to be positive.

Are you definitely not pregnant?

The MAP only works by delaying ovulation, if you had already ovulated it wouldn’t work.

If you are definitely not pregnant, I would give it another week and maybe contact your GP?

Did they not inform you that the MAP isn’t effective if you’re ovulating? They really should have done! You’re probably pregnant, you need to take a test.

I’ve done loads of tests over the last few weeks and no not pregnant definitely

MAP can affect your cycle. If you're getting negative tests then I'd just put it down to that.

Hi, I know this is an old thread but did your period come in the end? I'm in the same position atm and am freaking out. I've taken two tests and both negative but period is very late which is unusual for me
