To get a new driving instructor?

I've had 4 lessons so far. Generally speaking he's a good instructor. Gives me (as a nervous driver) the push I need to get on with it. Constructive advice..but he keeps "playfully" hitting my arm. I tried to ignore it at first. Sometimes he places a hand on my arm and sometimes he full on wacks me on the arm for no reason?! He is in his 50s. I thought at first maybe it's just a generational thing. It's got more annoying with each lesson! I'm quite shy so not one to say fuck off don't touch me. Is this normal? Should I just find someone else? It's not effecting my ability to drive but it gives me the ick!

I was a nervous learner and also can't tell left from right, my instructor never hit me. I'd find someone else.

There are a lot of driving instructors out there. Find another that you can actually work with and learn from without having to deal with this.

I'm in my 50s and can tell you it's not a 'generational thing' it's a creep thing. It's that particular man, nothing to do with his age.

Change instructors.
