As above. Booking summer holiday and between the kennels and cat sitter, it would be cheaper to take a couple of extra people on holiday with us all expenses paid (only half joking, but should probably do the sums to put it to the test)!

Have looked at mindmyhouse and trustedhousesitters and it seems too good to be true! Has anyone done this recently and care to share their experiences? Had a look on here but not many posts - the reviews on trustpilot etc. are a bit mixed.

Thank you!

I've used trustedhousesitters 3 times. My advice is to post your holiday on as soon as possible, so that you get more people applying.

The first time we used it, it was all very last minute, so we took the one, and only, person who applied. She was a bit strange, according to our neighbours! The second time we had a lovely woman come, but she had to leave early because her dad became seriously ill, so my parents stepped in and took our dogs (but weren't happy and said they were never doing it for us again), and the third time, when I listed us in plenty of time, we got lots to choose from and had a lovely couple from New Zealand housesit.
