Neom help

I recently treated myself to a Neom wellbeing pod, I bought the set of oils too. I think it’s Scent to sleep/de stress/make you happy but I’m just very not keen on them they are too strong or ‘stinky’ to me.
Also the next day if I haven’t cleaned it it is a disgusting smell and everyone tells me to switch it straight off.
Are there any other oils that have a different kind of scent or are all Neom ones the same? It’s too expensive to buy more without knowing.
I guess I thought the smell would be a more fresher one or maybe sweeter if that makes sense?
So am AIBU to not like Neom oils I guess

I suppose you only option would be to go to an ‘alternative’ type shop and sniff their essential oil sample bottles and find one you like.

List your open Neom on eBay. They sell well.

I don’t think you can be either reasonable or unreasonable for liking or not liking a smell.
Personally I really dislike strong smelling candles etc like Yankee but I love the Neom bath foam and scented candles, especially Scent to Destress, I have that candle beside me right now and to me it is very subtle. Perhaps the oils are stronger or perhaps we just have different likes and dislikes!

Are you putting enough water in? How many drops of oil are you adding?

Use fewer drops and 'cut' it with a greener oil like lime/basil/lemongrass

I love them the way they are but I add lavender and/or lemongrass to them if I want an extra hit of sleepiness or awakeness

Also try white company oils I found them lighter / fresher

I was doing around 3/4 drops and water to the max limit. I was so excited to eventually get one using my Christmas money but I’m not using it at all at the moment.
I’m going to give it another go now, I think I prefer scents like woodwick sunset or the Yankee snow type of ones.

I love the de stress! The scent to make you happy is lovely too. Are you close to a neom shop where you can go and smell before purchasing?

I do similar, water to max line, two/four drops in. Do you run it to dry? I always leave it on to run dry, that way it is fresh water / oil each time rather than something that has been sat over night. I also clean mine!

Gosh I put way more in so you’re obviously sensitive to those particular scents.

I use about six drops to a full tank but that is for a very large room 8m x 7m

I’ve just lit my de stress candle to see how I find that but maybe it’s just me picking scents up differently I guess

Candle was better but still not the type of scents that I'd go for

The scents are all very spa like. So they’re quite strong
