To think he’s stolen my boots

I have a van for work. I teach classes as part of my job. I had a very expensive pair of boots I took with me to classes as I needed to change into them for a session outside after classes.

They’ve now gone missing. Last seen where I hold my classes.

My stuff goes into the van and then into the garage. On this occasion my ex husband emptied the van for me.

I’ve since realised the boots have gone missing. Not in the garage. Not in the van.

What are your thoughts here?

I need them as they need to be sent back to the retailer due to a fault.

No one from class could have taken them.

Have you asked the ex if he has seen them?

pictish · 27/02/2022 15:53

Is there a reason he might take them?

Allywill · 27/02/2022 15:54

Why would he steal your boots? If he emptied the van for you presumably he was doing you a favour?

Beautiful3 · 27/02/2022 16:02

Ask the ex sad the class if they've seen your boots.

dfendyr · 27/02/2022 16:04

what did he say when you asked him? Surely you asked him for posting here for the psychics to tell you?

twominutesmore · 27/02/2022 16:05

If they were last seen where you have your classes, could they be there, or have been taken from there?

I don't know why anyone would steal some worn, second-hand boots in a specific size and style.

I also doubt your ex has done it to upset you as he was helping you by emptying the van.

Unless anyone here knows your ex, there’s not a lot can be given really.

The fact he’s emptied your van for you shows you must have an element of trust and/or he’s not Satan.

When you asked him, what was his response?
