I work in a small office with one toilet between 10 people. It's unisex and self contained and has a sink inside it.
Around six months ago we got a placement worker who is with us on a government scheme to get experience in a working environment. She's with us one day a week and clearly hates it. She shows little interest in anything we're trying to show her and will openly be scrolling her phone when someone is trying to teach her something.
It's not our line manager who is in charge of her, she has a placement officer who we have no contact with.
We could cope with all of this but someone (and we're 99.9% sure its her) has taken to wiping the contents of their nose down the bathroom wall. Our cleaner has refused to touch it so the area is spreading every week as every single shift she locks herself in the bathroom and adds to the collection. It's definitely only happening on days that she's in.
I had a meeting with my line manager the other day who said 'oh that's odd, must be an accident' and didn't ask any further questions or express any concern.
AIBU thinking this is something that needs dealt with?!
