Not to chase this up?

I'm a freelancer and there's a company that I do work for periodically.

The person in question rang me the other day to see if I could fit something in - as it is I have plenty of other work going on but said I could fit it in today if she sent me the info over by email.

She still hasn't sent it over, but I didn't much fancy the job anyway - aibu not to chase her? I kind of know it's on her but I can't help feeling bad about it. She will probably ring me Monday to ask if I did the work and will have forgotten she didn't send me the bloody info!

You shouldn't have said you would fit it in. Now you have I think you have an obligation to send her a follow up along the lines of further to our conversation, I am still waiting for X. I need it by (time) or I will not be able to get it done until whatever date.

I just think well you never sent me the info so I did nothing sounds unprofessional on your end.

Don't you think it's unprofessional of her not to send me the crucial spec I need to even start the job?

Agree I think you need to follow up, but give her a very short time frame.
As per our conversation on Tuesday, I can accommodate your request today but will need all relevant details by 11am to ensure completion by close of business today.

Unless of course you will rely on them in the future and need to keep them sweet, in which case be more accommodating.

Yes but you aren't in control of her professionalism, only your own.
