Concerned about ear cyst

Hi

Around March last year, noticed a lump in left earlobe, really tiny, barely noticeable upon touch . Went to the GP in Aug, they could also barely feel it, I had to guide them. She asked if I had pain , I didn't, she said it was a benign cyst and seemed nothing to worry about.

Last few weeks I've noticed it has grown, this is confirmed when I touch it. It's not noticeable to the eye, although I think I notice it when I look closely.

I've just noticed it feels uncomfortable, looked in the mirror and it's noticeable, and I'm going to call the GP first thing tomorrow to get an appt.

I'm concerned. Has anyone else had this? It's like between earlobe and cheek.

I'm probably panicking and thinking the worst but I'm scared it's going to get larger and larger and I'm going to have one deformed earlobe or something that doesn't reduce.

Help.

I've had something like this where there's an old piercing hole. For a while it would fill up with gunk and I could squeeze it out periodically.
Could it be something like that?

If it was too small for the doctor to feel it's probably not much to worry about, easy for me to say I know.

No no old piercing holes here.

The doc appt was in Aug last year, I mentioned in my post last few weeks I've noticed it has grown , and not long ago tonight it felt uncomfortable. I had a look and it's noticeable now and it's deffo bigger in touch

My daughter years ago had a cyst on her cheek which did the same.It was removed for her-completely benign but as it grew again they felt best to get rid of it

I had one of these, but eventually I think it came to a head and burst

DH gets these, his tend to go away but had a cheek one that kept coming up and was eventually removed surgically.

I've had one for about 8 years in one ear.

I had behind the other ear that kept getting infected and that was removed by local anaesthetic.

If it doesn't bother you and you know it's just a cyst then it's harmless.

Hello, the doc has booked me in for an ultrasound. Will likely be a few weeks.

Did any of you sleep on the side of your cyst, like on the ear?

I like to sleep on that side but wonder if it does anything to it /makes it worse
