(The film) every time I’ve watched it I feel absolute jealousy. I’d love a family like that Aibu

It was based on the writers life which makes it even sadder for us outsiders wanting people to truly care for us :(

It reminds me so much of my family (although mixed Asian, not Greek) and I watch it every time I miss them, which is often given I live 5000 miles away.
Easter I'm going to get to see them and hold them for the first time in 3 years.

I'm from a big family but they are not supportive and I can't talk to anyone. I wish for a family like that where everyone is so close and argue and fight but do things together and solve each other's problems.

I'm jealous of loads of fictional families - like in While you were sleeping (funny big family), practical magic (the sisters and the aunts), all the Italian families in movies, even the bloody Shelbys in peaky blinders!

Would love to be surrounded by that many people who ultimately have your back, no matter what you do.

Yes, this is one of my favourite films always makes me happy. Me and my sister are always quoting stuff from the film. I generally do get jealous of big happy families, people who have a sort of open door, with family members coming in and out and laughter throughout the house. However I also like having my own space and quiet time so I think I'd like it for a day then want it to go back to normal.
