St Aubyns school or Chigwell?

Anyone able to give personal experiences of either school please?

I have two friends who's children both go to Chigwell school. It is an excellent school, however, as I understand it, also very flashy. My friends are both well looked after by their partners, whereas I work more than full time and have a different attitude towards money. My daughter will be sitting an assessment for St Aubyn's shortly and has been offered a place at Wanstead Church. We do like the ethos at St Aubyns. It is less academic in comparison to Chigwell school. I am however torn between the two aforementioned schools.
