Leaking shed...

I had a new shed built and installed last week.....all good, or so I thought

I've noticed that over the last few days it's leaking from the roof...

I rang the shed company and he suggested using a waterproof top coat (which I see I can buy on Amazon for about £30)...but that next time he was in my area, he'd swing by and have a look

Aibu to expect him to come out and fix it? Or is this a common thing I should sort out myself??

YANBU, he is taking the piss.

Not fit for purpose… a shed roof shouldn’t leak!
Tell him you are not satisfied and you need it looking at fairly soon.
How did you pay him? You might have some redress there.
Also, what guarantee did he offer?
Can’t believe he told you to buy a top coat!

Oh...ok... thanks so much for your comments. I paid him on a debit card....

I'll call him again tomorrow, and be a bit firmer.

I can guess what has happened. He's nailed the felt roof on, hasn't he? Some twat did that to our last shed.
