My husbands cousin is having a family party in another city about a 2 hour drive away. My cousin also lives in this city. Neither cousin has met our baby girl yet. Its too far to drive there and back with her in the car seat in one day so we have decided to go and stay overnight in a hotel and just have a nice night away.
Our little girl will be about 3 months although she was 6 weeks premature so probably won't be sleeping through the night yet.
I was so excited but now feel a little guilty about our "neighbours" in the hotel. We've booked a nice hotel with a good size room so will keep her away from any walls but aibu to take her away for the night thst young.
