Are there any social workers out there? I am a social worker working with adults (generally older adults but it's a neighbourhood team, completing mental capacity assessments etc). I am just wondering if there are any roles I could step into in the future to increase my salary without going into management? Even if it is a bit of a career switch? Feeling a little disillusioned that I'm at the top of my salary bracket and it now won't increase (other than with inflation) for the next 30 years unless I go into management.
