To throw all of this out?

Two huge freezers packed full of food. Now, I know it would be safe for 48 hours as they were full and we didn't open the doors ... but we had two power cuts...

The first lasted 27 hours ... then the power was back on for (bizarrely) 27 hours ... then it went off again for 9 hours.

Is all that thawing and refreezing going to be a problem?

It's mostly chips, veggie burgers, fish fingers and birds eye chicken pies (not a very varied diet I know!Blush)

I'm a bit anxious about food going off but don't really want to waste food. What would you Chuck out?

I’d definitely keep the chips and veggie burgers

Nah it will be fine. I wouldn't throw it out.

I’m pretty slack, but I wouldn’t throw that out and my slackness has never led to food poisoning

I was going to have fish fingers for tea then panicked so now having one of my husband's veggie burgers (yuk). Would an 'off' fish finger do me much harm?

(This burger is awful btw)

Did you check it after the first cut. We had ten days with arwen. I had to throw it after four days, the freezer was not opened other than to check it at two days and was still solid. Couldn't cook the bloody stuff though
