A job I would love has opened up at an organisation I have wanted to work at for a long time. I have substantial background that will work in my favour with the organisation though have never been employed there. Only down side is it is on the other side of the country, but no reason it can't be done remotely so I'm giving it a crack.
However, another job has now popped up at the same place that I would also jump at the chance to apply for had the other role not come up. It's not 100% what I want to be doing long term, but pretty close. Can also be done remotely. It is a significant step down from the first job.
Should also mention I am pushing really hard to get out of my current job.
Both applications are due on the same date so no chance I can get the first in and see how it goes, so I'm trying to work out if it would look bad to apply for both or keep it simple and just go for the first one. Perhaps I'm overthinking...
