Please help so stressed, NHS vaccine pass and going abroad

Going to a country tomorrow which requires being double vaccinated for entry.
Mine is ok, my partner had his 2nd vaccine 8 days ago (they consider you as double vaccinated up to one week before your trip, so he has had it in time)

He's got the NHS app, the first issue on Friday night when we tried to get his pass was that it had his old phone number up (took exactly 24 hours to update it)

Now he's having to upload a piece of ID which could take another 24 hours apparently.

It's also not saying online that he's double vaccinated even though he had his last one 8 days ago.

I am so stressed, scared we will be denied boarding and lose our money. It's not fair really.

Just on the phone to the NHS helpline now.
Flight is supposed to be 5pm tomorrow

It's for France, I'm not sure if they actually check but not worth the risk

Just back from France. They definitely do check both uk side and French side. Also if you’re not boosted and your second jab was more than five months ago you can’t go to bars, restaurants etc.

Is there anything I can show otherwise apart from the COVID pass? I don't understand why it's not showing when he had it 8 days ago

The reason his vaccination may not be showing could be to do with an error at the vaccination centre…if this is the case you should log it with the Data Resolution Service on 119. They can normally resolve it over the phone but you can wait weeks for a call back. If this is the case you should be able to get it resolved at the vaccination centre - as it was relatively recent someone there may be able to help more quickly.

Had a similar issue and know how stressful it can be - good luck getting it sorted.

I called 119 but they told me 5 working days for the data service so not useful for us .. otherwise will have to try going to the vaccine centre tomorrow morning.

It says it should take 2 hours for his ID to be accepted, but what if it doesn't..

Not sure whether to just postpone our flights

I think they only other accepted proof is a letter from 119 with a QR code but not in time for tomorrow. It’s weird re the app, mine was on and active within 24 hours for both second dose and booster.

It might be because his ID has not yet been accepted that we can't see his vaccination status

Go to the dr and get his vaccination record printed out on paper
