13 year old recently got into friends and Big Bang theory. Loved Red Notice (film) but wants something else to get into. Any suggestions please?

Tuliprain · 19/02/2022 22:22

Fab. Will look into them all. He did try YoungShekdon but didn’t like it. I used to like The Middle a few years ago but it’s not on Netflix or Disney.

Which are the 4 key ones? We watched end game at the cinema a few years back and he loved it. I’d forgotten all about those.

Your 13-yr-old watched American Pie? I'm starting to feel like my mother and Mary Whitehouse rolled into one Grin
Bimblepops · 19/02/2022 22:26

Brooklyn 99 and The Good Place on Netflix were both devoured by my 13yr old son

cupolaoftea · 19/02/2022 22:26

The I.T. Crowd.
The Rookie.
All Jumanji films.
Central Intelligence.

Monr0e · 19/02/2022 22:31

4 key Avengers films are
Avengers
Age of Ultron
Infinity War
End Game
But if you have disney, just watch them all, starting with Iron Man 🙂

savehannah · 19/02/2022 22:32

Mine likes Brooklyn 99, Scrubs, Taskmaster and just introduced them to QI (oldish episodes on iPlayer). Also The World according to Jeff Goldblum on Disney plus is entertaining, lighthearted and funny 30 minute documentaries on random topics. My kids loved it.

FirstTimeSecondTime · 19/02/2022 22:32

Malcom in the middle is on Disney plus.
The good place on Netflix is good too

If he likes Friends, he might enjoy New Girl.

Monr0e · 19/02/2022 22:41

Disney lists them in order
You can either do them in release order, starting with Iron Man
Or chronological order, as in in year they are set in
Disney lists them in both, so just start with the first then move on to the next
Then you can watch all the series too, Wanda vision, falcon and winter soldier, Hawkeye
Should keep him busy for a while!

mamaduckbone · 19/02/2022 22:41

My 12yo ds is obsessed with Superstore on Netflix - it's actually pretty funny.
