To expect cleaner to clean (French skiing apartment)

So paid 60 euros for end of stay clean as we were leaving early.

Cleaner/handover lady arrives and makes huge fuss on how dirty it was ( really wasn't that bad) we'd cleaned away dishes and wiped down kitchen surfaces.

Suspect she had other changeovers to do and hadn't budgeted on actually having to clean, but if I wanted to do it myself I'd have saved 60 euros.

Similar thing happened in same resort but different apartment a few years ago.

Never had any problems apart from France. AIBU to expect that having paid 60 euros the cleaner would anticipate 1-2 hours cleaning would be required?

Well I’d have expected them to clean for that price. That’s their job surely

Thank you - thus far. It's actually really upset me, she was so nasty about it, and I'd bought a jar of her DDs overpriced honey at the start to be nice.
