Bit of a rant!

Ordered DH a pair of shoes for DD’s wedding. When they arrived they had clearly been worn - gravel marks in the soles and mud ingrained in the heels! Made me feel quite yuk as we would never do that. Shop clearly didn’t check before restocking so have had a whinge and they have sent out a new pair. Anyone else agree this is disgusting behaviour by the previous “purchaser”?

There does seem to be a rising trend of people buying clothes to wear once then return because they did not fit / didnt like them .
In truth they had no intentions of keeping them .

I wonder if this is what has happened here ?
Though obv the shop should of check them properly before refunding / reselling them .

At least you have got a new pair , what did / will you do with the other pair ?

@NewYearCalavicci they have already been returned. When I looked at them more closely this morning they were also scuffed. I still can't get over somebody having the cheek to return them. The store is quite reputable and I have never had a problem before. I did wonder if a member of staff had borrowed them to wear to an event and put them back but assume most of the stores have cctv now in their packing rooms to avoid this. Totally disgusted though!
