I currently have acrylics on (big mistake, first time I’ve had them in ages and now massively regret it!). During a recent accident, my nail was ripped off from the nail bed as I caught the end of the acrylic. It didn’t come out completely, but was hanging off and flapping🤢 paramedics were there treating me anyway, so they cleaned it and taped it back on for me as I was making such a fuss about it hurting
It’s still taped down now a few weeks later. I’ve been taking the tape off and cleaning it regularly. It doesn’t seem to be growing, and without pulling it around I’m not sure exactly where it’s become detached. Do I just leave it as it is and hope it falls off soon? Or do I have to pull it off? It still hurts if I put any pressure on it, just want to know what to expect really!
