To worry about lorry driver DH in this weather?

He can’t just stay at home and will be on motorways despite advice not to be. He drives artics.

Most concerned him driving back to his depot with an empty trailer in high winds!

High sided vehicles are very much at risk

No-one wants to out one out of action or risk injury to the driver (or people in other vehicles) so is there really no way he can park up for a few hours?

Not at all unreasonable. My partner is a HGV driver and I’m worried too, thankfully he is in tanks and is coming back up later with a full tank so slightly less worrying.

Just seen on BBC news that M4 is closed in S Wales because of an overturned lorry.

Really hope he can stop somewhere if in/near red areas
