To miss hen do due to storm?

Due to drive 1.5 hours away tomorrow for a hen do - in amber area, North West England.

Worried about the drive on the motorway.
The other issue is my MIL is due to come help out with the kids and I think her train may be cancelled.

Feel awful if I can’t go as it is a family member, but WIBU not to?

Is your MIL looking after the kids alone? If she can't get to yours then you can't go. But the weather tomorrow should be fine, so in terms of the drive, just check your route before you go.
