So sorry... urgent maths help needed

reduce this to a general formula? (sorry it's Spanish)

- plus 6 = 3 x
3

x is not times 2 it is x to the power of 2. Divided by 3.

I would divide each side by X then multiply each side by 9 if I've understood correctly?

Which gives me X=27

X^2/3+ 6 = 3x
x^2 /3 -3x + 6 = 0 (move the 3x to the left)
X^2 -9x + 18 =0 (multiply everything by 3)
(X -3)(x-6) = 0 (factorise)
So x= 3 or x=6

Multiply throughout by 3 giving
X^2 + 18 = 9x
Subtract 9x from both sides
X^2 -9x +18 = 0
Factorise
(X-6)(x-3) =0
X = 6 and X=3

Multiply all through by 3

x^2 + 18 = 9x

Take 9x from both sides

x^2 - 9x + 18 = 0

Then plug into the quadratic formula.
