To challenge you to save some money over a cuppa...

I've just saved £83.10 a month whilst having a cuppa on my lunch break by properly checking my bank and credit card statements for subscriptions I don't use anymore. Have a go!

I was paying for Amazon Music and Spotify so cancelled one of them. Kindle Unlimited which I was not getting my £8 a month out of. Jack's flight club which was a subscription I forgot to cancel after free trial about 2 years ago Blush have cancelled sky TV as we have too many subscriptions to keep up with and our box hasn't even been plugged in since September and switched our broadband.

It almost counteracts the fact our gas and electric DD is going up by £97 next month Hmm

I’m always quite surprised by how many people have so many subscriptions to be honest. Surely when you sign up to them all you realise how much it all tally’s up to?

They've just totted up over time and I haven't cancelled them. A lot come off my credit card which then gets paid in full each month and I'll be honest I don't check my statements nearly as regularly as I should!

I don’t know how so many people have subscriptions that they don’t know about! It shocks me to be honest. I know exactly what is coming in and out of my account each month, always have.

I don’t have a credit card and I look at my banking app twice a day so always have a good idea of what’s going where. To be honest those two habits have helped me save a lot over the last couple of years.
