Moving away/job search

I’m currently job hunting. We will probably move a bit further out in the next year or two (schools, closer to parents etc) so would be hoping my work can give me additional flexibility to work from home beyond the 2-3 days that’s currently offered by most places eg coming in every other week. Should I mention this at interview or just wait until I’m a year in to the job and if it’s not offered then switch jobs. I’m ideally looking for a long term job but I don’t know if my future plans should be brought up at interview or not?

A years a long time, I’d wait and not say anything yet

I’d not hold out too much hope, depends how sought after your skills are but unless it’s gone fully remote a lot of companies are telling staff they must be in regularly.
