Me and DH have both been WFH since covid began and our employer (same job) have begun a hybrid working so we are WFH if we want forever now.
I work upstairs in one of our bedrooms and he chooses to work downstairs in the living room which is usually fine as it's just the two of us.
Today is my day off, so he could work at my desk upstairs but he's decided to still work downstairs in the living room.
We are renovating our house with the help of my DF so every so often he is here during the working day if he can do a silent job e.g painting as he is today.
I'm sat in the living room watching Netflix on my phone with headphones as I can't have the TV on as he is in constant calls.
My DF walks in and goes to the kitchen to wash his paint brush and walks back through to go into the hallway again, on his way out he stops at me to whisper me a couple of questions and I have to show him something on my phone to answer (again in whispers)
DH mutes his call and tells us off for being "so distracting with moving around", he was raising his arms up and glaring at me whilst we were whispering as well.
Now when we were in the office it was much much louder with everyone talking on the phone and moving round etc. he's become very precious since WFH.
He is like this whenever he is working and my DF is here working on the house. He gets a bee in his bonnet about the slightest shred of noise or movement.
So my question is AIBU to say if he can't cope with basic noise and movement of a household he has to go back to the office.
