Fed up of wide leg jeans

Am I the only one who is fed up of wide leg jeans? Oh and also the faux leather jacket look that seems to be in at the minute

I can’t make it work. I have a lunch date today and I can’t find anything in my wardrobe to wear.

All I have is skinny jeans and they just aren’t in style

I will live and die by my skinny jeans! I don't mind it they're in fashion or not, they suit me. Wide leg jeans make me look like I'm on stilts 😂 wear what makes you look and feel good!

Absolutely not. I have wide legs and literally can't wear skinny jeans, sometimes I can't even get the thighs over my calves. I've struggled to keep myself clothed this millennium! At least you can get into the jeans you don't like, hope that cheers you up about having to wear them.

I think skinny jeans are actually making a come back. Looking on “new in” on Asos and other high fashion websites there are tons of skinny jeans making an appearance. I think they’ve never really gone out anyway, they’ve become a classic.

Not once have I wandered down the street and thought "Oooh, someone's wearing mid-waist instead of high-waist, what a mess she looks!"

YABU the fashion in jeans rarely suits the average woman wearing them.

Wear the style you're comfortable in and suits you. It'll always look better than being uncomfortable in something that happens to be "in"

Find a different fashion if it's not working for you. I wear straight leg jeans with a bit of stretch in them, I prefer a wool coat/jacket as I don't like faux leather or any leather to wear. You can look classic rather on trend. It's personal taste, there's always alternatives.

Skinny jeans look nicer imo than wide leg. I find wide leg very try hard. Where what you like as what suits you

I think the blouse would work with skinnies if you loosely tucked it in and undid a couple of top buttons.

Oh it’s not got buttons has it? Don’t know why I saw it with buttons. I’d just do your hair and make up really nicely and then it won’t matter what you wear.

Skinny jeans are a basic neutral, if you don't like wide leg jeans then don't wear them. Your issue here is the top I think. Black floral is dated. Also if that picture if of you then you look amazing, just put a white t-shirt on with some skinnies and red lipstick, don't over think it.

As someone who worked at a fashion magazine I can tell you that almost no-one in fashion follows trends obsessively. Just pick the bits which suit you or that you enjoy.

Wear what you feel good in and what looks best on you! Feeling confident and comfortable is so much better than being on trend (in my opinion).
That blouse is gorgeous!

That top will be grand with skinny jeans. I'm not short well not really, but anything bar skinny jeans are dragging along the ground for me. So skinny jeans are going to be me forever now

My clothes just feel dated. I can’t really afford a whole new wardrobe and I’ve invested in some really nice pieces over the years. Only now it seems to be that my clothes are out of style

Suppose I should care less. I’m maybe just feeling my age

Wide legs are better in summer when you feel the benefit of a bit of air circulating, and can balance them out with just a tshirt or camisole on top. In winter they just soak up rain and mud. They work better with trainers and sandals than with boots as well.

Wide leg jeans are really useful if you want to make your legs look several inches shorter.

Style is wearing what suits you, not whatever the fashion industry is trying to sell you.
