My relationship with both of them has been quie complicated in the past few months.
My MIL was abusive to me and my husband enables her.
I've been invited by my husband's cousin for tea.
Just found out my husband had told his mum about me going to his cousin and his mum called her before I arrived to tell her to "talk to me" (probably about trying to make my husband appear good or me band?) and again after I had left to ask her to tell her what I had told her and what we had talked about.
Weirdo.
All this a month after my husband and I had an argument about how much he involves his mum is in our relationship (telling her things I told him in confidence) and he had promised me he wouldn't involve her anymore.
