To think physically shopping for clothes now is a bit rubbish.

I enjoy the act of going into a shop to look at their clothes. Online clothes shopping doesn't compare, especially since so many websites have the models in silly poses or weird camera angles so it doesn't make it clear what the item actually looks like.

I stay near a popular shopping centre and used to enjoy working my way through all the women's clothes shops. Starting at M&S, Principles, Wallis, New Look, Phase Eight, H&M, Debenhams, Fat Face, Warehouse, Oasis, Dorothy Perkins, Topshop, River Island and Next.

Since the pandemic all that remains is M&S, New Look, H&M, River Island and Next. Don't know if I'm alone in feeling a meh about the lack of choice in physical clothes shops for women now.

I feel sad about the lack of choice but I dislike online shopping and find returning stuff a massive chore. I’m going to try and go back to physics shops, even if I have to travel to them!

I feel the same. I do a lot better shopping in person as I can try things on and pick the most flattering. But I haven't enjoyed it recently. I don't buy a lot anyway and I have a sort of minimalist approach to clothes and shopping anyway. I really find online better now. I can find specifically what I want, which works better I think when you want a smaller wardrobe
